So we are almost done with this semester. And a good semester it has been to add. It has been a stressed one, a happy one, and also a very short/fast one. It is cram time for everyone and i noticed especially this week and for for the next two weeks to come that the library is going to be packed to maximum capacity. So my little routine i do now is get to the library around 4:30pm or 5pm if I'm feeling lazy, and go hop right on any open computer i see. I toss my books all over it and do what i have to do, then go take a break eat maybe a little snack have some thing to drink and then go back to finish my work. This technique is good because people won;t move your stuff away while I'm gone and they won't sign me off so i can take my break with no rushing on my mind.
The work however has been non stop, and i am in the library for at least 4 to 5 hours a day. However, over the past 2 years i found that i like being in the library and doing my work here instead of home with all my other 5 roommates. To many distractions at home and here at the lib. i get to see everyone here i know and we can bullshit catch up on whats going on and even if i see someone i my class and i forgot something for homework or a test i can ask them. There are many perks to the library that not a lot of people take advantage of. Internet for one and the Cortland State library resources. And if you have trouble with that, there is people at the circulation desk there to help.
Although this sounds boring i am going to end this semester with a bang. I will do all my work study my ass off before any drinking or partying occurs. I find that this works greatly. because then when i do go out i have gotten all my studying out of the way and all my homework out of the way i have nothing on my mind to worry about. And yes i will be partying in full force school work permitting. But i will find time for the drinks. We r still young, there is many more years of partying and getting drunk to come. Right now i gotta do what i need to do and graduate. PEACE OUT FALL 07'!!!!!!!!!!!

CRAZY Thanksgiving break
Well we are back to reality, and i must say i am not to happy to be back here in Cortland. We have exactly 3 weeks left and they will consist of studying for multiple hours at the library so as i can actually stay in school and not fail out. This is why when i go home i appreciate the luxury of being lazy and having a nice home cooked meal every night and having mom do my laundry make my bed iron my cloths ect. I miss it, as does she; being that i am her only son. And sitting down with the family eating thanksgiving dinner made me realize it so much more. That and all the football and beer my uncle and i drank prior to the big feast. But hey it gets the job done so by the time i was at the table ready to chow down we were both feeling great and had the munchies like crazy. Which i usually get after a whole night and a day of drinking.
Also being home has its ups and downs i got to see many people that i went to highschool with. many whom ididn;t want to see and a variety whom i haven't seen in years and was delighted. My friends and i all started Thanksgiving eve at my buddies house. my two friends and i drank a bottle of Captain Morgans rum before we even went to the bar. This tactic works great so by the time you actually arrive at the bar, you spend no money buying drinks. After the great pre-gaming we had, it was off to the Captians Table, which is a bar in the town over from us where we heard everyone was going. It was there where the high school renunion happened. It was a good time overall, except for one little quarrel we had with this kid we went to high school with started to run his mouth. And of course he had his cliock there and we had ours. So it was about to get out of hand when my buddy got in his face ready to knock dude out. And my not so smart butt standing behind the kid with a bottle. LOl probably would have gotten the job doen and also i wouldn;t have had to do that if he hadn;t all of a sudden went up to me and said, "what are you some kind of pimp or something" And let me tell you iwas lookin real fly that night. After all was said and doen we went back to our local bar that my friends family owns and we finished out night there. Where after we left my best friend and i decided to beat each other up. And beat up we did, slammin his head into a car door, he put my face into the driveway, you know we haven;t seen one another in a few months due to the largae amount of miles between our schools. All in all it was a great little vacation and now i have to start bukling down hardcore for these next few weeks.

Thanksgiving FIASCO
So the thanksgiving break is approaching fast, and every year it winds up being a bigger party bash then New Years Eve. It is statistically known also that this is very much a true statement through-out the United States. My Thanksgiving Eve bash always starts off with my friends and i pre-gameing at either my house or someone else's. But this year we have something much better. We have a friend whose family owns the bar in my town and we go there now and just get hooked up. She makes us any drink we want and she even adds her own little flavor to it sometimes. By the time we are all set and actually ready to go out, everything looks kind of blurry. This is not so bad because once we do get to the bar we usually go to, called C.B. Driscolls, we will not have to go deep into our pockets to buy them five dollar drafts. Funny how the prices go up on holidays. Where is the early Christmas spirit people? It is a great time every year also because we always get a good amount of people to come and we all just get real sloppy and call what is called SAFE RIDE. For those who do not know what safe ride is, it is a company, simaliar to a taxi service however, they only pick people up from bars who are to intoxicated to drive. They have a 10 mile radius as to how far they will go, which is perfect because my house and all my friends are exactly that, maybe less. What makes everything such a good time also is the fact that we all get to see each other again after being away at school for months. It sucks sometimes when you and all your friends go to different schools and have different vacation times. Hence the reason why thanksgiving and Christmas are so peachy. Everyone comes home for that.
The next day of recooperation is thee day of the big fat turkey. The turkey my mother usually gets is pretty big. That baby barley fits into the dam oven. And its really funny seeing everyone not eating all day and starving watching it cook. Which is why god invented football. When every year my DALLAS COWBOYS play on this holy food day. So to keep our minds off the food my uncles cousins and rest of the family drink massive amounts of beer and watch football so by the the time the game is over we are kinda of messy and ready to pig out. My usual routine consist of Eating about 5lbs of sweet potatoes and about 10 lbs of this all so famous German dish my grandmother used to make t perfection called SPETCHLE. This dish is a type of beer battered noodles with homemade croutons and you pour massive amounts of gravy on top of them, and wash it all down with an ice cold brew-ha-ha. So yea i am pretty excited to cause havoc on this upcoming break.

AFTERMATH of Cortaca
So this past weekend as stated in my previous blog was THEE CORTACA WEEKEND. And i must say it had to be the best weekend i have had this whole semester hands down. I'll give a little play by play as to how everything went down. Friday my friends came up and we all started the festivities around 6pm or so. And by 11pm everyone had all their friends up and my house was just filled with a sea of people. We all know each other for the most part which makes the experience so much better. Around 12 or so that night we all headed to the bars where you could not move one inch for the life of you. I never seen so many people packed into all the bars here in Cortland except for this weekend every year. I want to say that the population doubled easily and the revenue brought in by all the visiting people was way over normal. A new bar opened up as well called the stone lounge, where i had a bar party that started at 8am Saturday morning and ended at about 10:30am. Right after we all caught a bus to the football game and honestly we had more fans there then they did. The game was the best part of my weekend probably. After coming right from the bars and going into an atmosphere of all Cortland State students and fans i felt so much energy. And the hill that all of us were standing on made it feel like we ran the show even though we lost the football game. I'll tell you one thing however, we did win in regards to school and team spirit. With a whole bunch of made up shirts degrading Ithaca, and any fan that dared to walk through us fans was absolute ludicrous. No Ithaca fan was safe in our part of the stadium. With kids being hit with bottles and dirt piles, it had to be the funniest thing i have ever seen. And the cops there couldn't even really do anything because there were so many of us.
As the game came to an end we all hopped back on the bus and started our mockery of Ithaca again and got our buses pelted with apples beer cans and anything they could find. But fear not fellow Cortland students, we to did our damage, felt like i was in a spike Lee movie doing a drive by but in a huge yellow bus. In our return back into C-Land, we all got ready for more parties and after that i couldn't really tell what happened. I woke up Sunday morning at 9am to my friends packing everything up to go back home, laying on top of a keystone box in my hallway. Quite funny when you see some other sleeping in the bathtub. All in all this weekend was great and i can't wait for next semester when Monroe fest or as we all know it to be called Spring fling comes back into action. So until next time. Love Peace and Chicken grease.

Cortaca Weekend
So this weekend is cortaca weekend and as always everyone is very excited. I am always a little bit of a skeptic when huge events come to campus or are happening. Because i am not one to create plans my self i just like to go wit hthe flow and do what everyone else is doing. But i have a few of my very good friends coming up to celebrate so this year i did have to make plans and get tickets for all of us. It is a lot of work i must add to cater not only to your self but others as well. The way i have it figured out this year is that i will go to my bar party on saterday from 8am-11am. We will catch a bus from the bar and go straight to the football game from there. I want to show my friends a really good time this weekend because one of them hasn;t even been to visit, and we are already in our senior year of school. So i really have high standard i guess to show them a good time. After the game i guess we will go back to my house and start the festivities once again.
This year is also a good year because this will be the third straight year we bring home the jug. And that in its self is a great feat. The population of cortland and the bars will most definetly increase dramatically by at least 20 percent. I think that is cool execept for the fact it is going to take at least 30 m,inutes to get into one bar and the bars will be to packed to even move. With all the drunken people around, i don't know howl ong ill beb ale to stay out there. But hey we all got to make the best of it huh. So see everyone this weekend. Blog OUT.

Music 'n' Me
SO today is Monday and the start of a hectic week for me. Thank god Cortaca weekend is approaching this weekend so as i can wind down and relax and have a fun safe weekend with my friends that will be visiting from home. So as i prepare my self and as i sit here contemplating on what homework to do first. I sat for a while, actually for more than a few hours earlier today, listening to music. Like i had mentioned in a previous blog, music calms me down and helps me just to not think about many problems at hand. Unlike some other people who resort to drugs and alcohol. I choose music as my anti-drug and relaxer. No sleeping pills, no any kind of pills for me. I just want my music and me. And so i sat and found this new song that kinda explains how i feel at the moment and what i have been thinking about for actually a few years in and out. The song is called "This is The Girl" by two artist one whom i like a lot and is quite famous not so much here in the states anymore but huge in England and Europe, and the other i never heard of until i found this song. They go by the names of Craig David and Kano. And here is a partial taste of the song for your enjoyment.
Verse 1
I’m comfortable, it been way more than a month or two
It’s deeper than that I roll with you
So no other chick cant come close to you
And deep down I know that you notice
You don’t like if I come with you
But chicks wanna hug me in front of you
But I don’t mean to rude
I won’t find me another one quite like you
I know that we become so close
And I know I’m mostly on tour with girls backstage after the encore
But I’m down for you, look out for you
Try my best to be around for you
And if you still want me then I want you to know
You’re the one I want when I’m gone.
